I'd be interested to know this too, i've found a couple of good wins, but my god is it a painstaking task searching at random.

I'm also looking for alternatives, possibly more search terms on s.io.

Could you please provide some examples? Are there any keywords that could narrow down the search?

I think you will find your best success with shodan.io

Shodan.io will require a small purchase though to do any significant amount of searches. It was real cheap, like 3 bucks?

I use the search term "Iomega" then right click to open new tabs so I can browse a little faster. Success is rare. But there are good wins out there. I seem to find more international ladies than US but I keep my searches to US only. (Personal Preference)

Most of what I've found seems to be married women, pregnancy shots, and honeymoons (my fav). I've had like 5 GOOD wins, 5 OK wins, and a bunch of crap wins.

PM me maybe for more info

Use Shodan to find unsecure nas/ftps but number of results are limited unless you pay and its painfully time consuming as all you have is the ip address with no win guaranteed.
Using a specialist search engine throws up better results for keywords. Filemare.com (lots of pop ups) or searchftps.net
Found a fair bit of stuff over about 6 months.i would also bookmark any potential future win ips but the computer i was using died and i lost the lot. The majority where i had found goodstuff were ppl who didnt know their stuff was open. A firmware fault with some makes router meant when you had a computer plugged directly with cable, it resulted in your hard drives data being open to the world via ftp. Like everything else white knights fuck it up for everyone, uploading txt files to the hosts my documents

Aint that the fucking truth Angry I have seen a lot of destruction and totally unnecessary manipulation of private home NAS directories of unsuspecting owners.

White Knights can burn in mother fucking hell.

Using the 2 ftp search engines i listed above i have found win by searching for one or multiple keywords of :
anything related to when somebody backsup their cell phone on a pc . anything that may be included in the name of the default folder that the phone uploads the data into on the harddrive.it mobile, backup, camera roll, samsung, iphone, sync etc
the names of instant messengers: whatsapp kik bbm etc
private, priv, prive, personal
some cameras name their pictures by default something along the lines of IMG2016-0205-0001 which may or may not include the - which is year-date-time. if i could find the index of these directory's then look through the names for the picture times that stand out from the rest. like if most of the pics are taken during the day of their dog, mother, baby or whatever else. but there was a couple taken at say 1am when it could mean somebodies taken them having fun in the bedroom then they are always worth checking out

Is there a way to preview files on those search engines without downloading? I tried both of them out and was shown results but no previews, just download links... am I doing it wrong?

not that i know of . there is a few browser add ons that help to some extent mostly were for firefox. if the images are in sequence you can also use chrome add on called fuskr which will pull the pics onto a page to save having to keep clicking the links

Stripdir is free and shows thumbs. Should work for what you describe. Find potential location and put address in stripdir.
